Blokje

Blokje is one of the many experiments that are part of "Casting away the thought of thinking". Blokje is simple at first glance, with not alot happening, but when you take this object in your hands you will feel that there is room for movement. You can open the connection itself and look right into its core. Technique is something that is very important for me, with this piece i want to give the viewer room for discovery on their own terms and at their own pace. Not only doing this with your eyes but also using your hands as tools of examination gives the work extra dimention.
